School of Information Technology, KMITL (IT Faculty Ladkrabang) through the Center of Excellence for Deep Technology participates as part of the driving force behind the “AI Training Project to Increase Online Work Opportunities for All Types of People with Disabilities,” a collaboration between the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS), King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), and The Mall Group Co., Ltd. The project aims to empower people with disabilities to use AI technology as a tool to create jobs, generate income, and sustainably improve quality of life. It was officially launched on September 8.
The “AI Training Project to Increase Online Work Opportunities for All Types of People with Disabilities” is supported by the Fund for Promotion and Development of Quality of Life of Persons with Disabilities, operating through a tripartite cooperation mechanism: KMITL develops the curriculum and prepares people with disabilities (upstream); MSDHS and The Mall Group facilitate coordination and provide the employer’s perspective (midstream); and The Mall Group supports internships, employment, and market channels (downstream) to create sustainable careers and income for people with disabilities.
Currently, over 400 people with disabilities from across the country have applied to join the training, marking an important step in opening new opportunities and supporting people with disabilities to enter the labor market with stability and equality.
