

First Prize from the KrungsriUniVerse x KMITL Hackathon Competition: Mule Hunt Challenge
School of Information Technology KMITL congratulates its undergraduate students for winning the first prize along with a cash award of 25,000 Baht from the KrungsriUniVerse x KMITL Hackathon Competition: Mule Hunt Challenge “Up-skill, Create Ideas, Conquer Mule Accounts” organized under the academic collaboration between the KMITL Faculty of Science and Krungsri Bank Public Company Limited. The competition and award announcement took place on August 17, 2025, at the 1st floor lobby, Building A, Knowledge Lifelong Learning Center (KLLC), KMITL.
The KrungsriUniVerse x KMITL Hackathon aims to provide a platform for students to develop sustainable innovations, enhance creative thinking and problem-solving skills with technology, connect knowledge between universities and the business sector, and further develop ideas into real applications through incubation processes.
Project"Mule Observation Detection Engine" A mule account detection system focusing on solving issues from the source by performing Link Chaining from gambling and loan networks connected to account trading, along with social data analysis to effectively block risk networks. This work was produced by the team “Mama Sent to Compete” consisting of 5 members: Mr. Wathin Promfai, Ms. Pawitra Boonprasat, Mr. Watcharawit Homrangsrith, Mr. Olan Ekmanochai (3rd-year undergraduate students, Data Science and Business Analytics Program, School of Information Technology, KMITL) and Mr. Athadee Kuiprasert (3rd-year undergraduate student, Information Technology Program, School of Information Technology, KMITL)
